Czech Film Symphony Orchestra
Czech symphony orchestra, originally established in 1943 as “Pražský filmový orchestr” or “Pragfilmorchestr”. Conducted mainly by František Belfín or Štěpán Koníček , among others. Appeared in thousands of Czech and Slovak films as well as in numerous foreign productions. Since the late 1960s the orchestra also maintained a rock/jazz rhythm section.
