Kate DiCamillo

Katrina Elizabeth DiCamillo je americká autorka dětských knížek. Narodila se v Philadelphii. V dětství prodělala chronický zápal plic. V 5 letech se odstěhovala s matkou a starším bratrem ze zdravotních důvodů na Floridu. Její matka je učitelka a její otec se nikdy nepřistěhoval k rodině na Floridu. Kate navštěvovala Floridskou univerzitu a po promoci střídala různá zaměstnání, dokud se ve 30 nepřestěhovala do Minneapolis, kde začala psát.
