Narozena 1970 v Anglii. Velkou část 90tých let žila v Argentině. Nyní žije s manželem a dvěma dětmi v Londýně. Do češtiny byly přeloženy dva její romány. Rodinné tajemství a Skříňka s motýlem. Je manželkou britského spisovatele a historika Simona Sebag-Montefiore .
