Laini Taylor

Laini Taylorová je americká autorka fantasy pro dospívající mládež . Narodila se v Kalifornii, vyrostla jako vojenské dítě v Evropě a Kalifornii, vystudovala angličtinu na UC Berkeley. Nyní žije s manželem a dcerou v Portlandu v Oregonu. Vždycky chtěla být spisovatelkou, ale než dokončila svou první novelu, bylo jí 35. V roce 2004 napsala grafickou novelu ilustrovanou jejím manželem, kterým je Jim Di Bartolo. První novelka jí vyšla v roce 2007. V roce 2011 vydala knhu Dcera kostí a dýmu, kterou Amazon označil za Nejlepší Teen knihu roku 2011. Od té doby vydala řadu dalších knih.
