The history of spas in this country has a long tradition - the first documented mention about healing waters springs dates as early as the 12th century. Let's set out on a trip. A stay in a spa does not mean treatments only - often it is connected to various cultural and social activities and to venturing out into the surrounding areas. Petr David je český spisovatel a sportovní novinář. Vystudoval na pražské Karlově univerzitě Fakultu žurnalistiky. Mezi roky 1973 a 1992 působil v deníku Československý sport, kde se posléze stal i jeho šéfredaktorem. Spolupracuje též s Českým rozhlasem a některými českými periodiky. Posléze se po roce 1992 stal s Vladimírem Soukupem spolumajitelem nakladatelství a vydavatelství S&D. Je autorem turistických průvodců a se svým přítelem Miroslavem Moravcem vydal sbírku vědeckofantastických povídek ze sportovního prostředí.
Narozen 20.4.1949 v Letohradě. Mgr., žurnalista, nakladatel, autor turistických průvodců.
