Erin Morgenstern je americká spisovatelka a výtvarná umělkyně známá pro svou knihu Noční Circus. Erin Morgenstern vyrůstala v Marshfieldu, Massachusetts a studovala divadelní a studiové umění na Smith College v Northamptonu v Massachusetts, kde absolvovala v roce 2000. Kromě psaní, maluje. Sbírá šperky vyrobené ze starých klíčů. Její Noční cirkus byl zveřejněn v září 2011. V současné době žije v Bostonu, Massachusetts se dvěma velmi načechranými kočkami.
