      David Lagercrantz

      David Lagercrantz je švédský autor a novinář. Vyrostl v obci Solna, která je součástí stockholmské aglomerace. Studoval filozofii a religionistiku na univerzitě, a následně vystudoval Gothenburgskou školu žurnalistiky. Svou kariéru začal v regionálních novinách Sundsvalls Tidning jako krimi zpravodaj a pokračoval v národním deníku Expressen, kde se zabýval některými z hlavních trestních případů přelomu 80. a 90. let ve Švédsku, zejména vraždy v Åmsele, které se později se staly tématem jeho knihy Änglarna i Åmsele. Je synem publicisty Olofa Lagercrantze a Martiny Ruin a bratrem herečky a diplomatky Mariky Lagercrantze. Je ženatý s Annou Lagercrantzem, s níž má tři děti.
